How it Started

ZAM Services grew out of ZAM Electric, where we’ve spent decades working with builders and developers on large-scale residential projects. That experience taught us the importance of quality and efficiency—getting the job done right and on schedule. Over time, we wanted more than just building houses with builders. We wanted to work directly with homeowners and bring that same level of reliability and attention to the people who live in those homes every day.

Why We Do Things Differently

One of the first things we noticed as we made that shift was surprising. Many companies that looked local weren’t local anymore. They had been bought out by bigger businesses, and the only thing they kept was the name of the company. The focus quickly moved to higher prices and squeezing profit, with little thought for employees or the community. We saw an opportunity to do things differently—to stay local, keep our values, and give homeowners a better option.
